The time has come for me to introduce myself. I would tell you about myself, but lets all be honest. We're here because of the trucks, haha.
A few months ago I had the pleasure of purchasing myself a 2000 (08/99) F-350, SCLB, 7.3l ZF6 4x4 with 195,000 on the odometer. I joined a few months ago, but I've been lurking on the forums and perusing because I was out of the country when I purchased the truck and I didn't have any pictures or really anything to show! I'm home now, and I have the truck and couldn't be more happy as I've always loved these trucks ever since my father bought his 1999 F-250 7.3l 4x4 CCLB. Sure, shes old....and sure, she shows her age, but it's 20 years old..and she could absolutely be in WORSE condition than she is. I don't really have any plans for her as of yet, aside from fixing the extremely slow crank that she's seemed to develop at some point in her life.
With that said, thank you to those who welcome me, and I look forward to seeing what I can be helpful with that HASN'T been covered on the forums. Here she is!
The rock is only there until the emergency brake is repaired, all the parts are in the tool box, for now I just leave it in gear. The engine has great compression and shouldn't roll.
Welcome to FTE. That looks to be a well preserved truck. Since you have been checking things out, I will only remind you of your state chapter and the help they may need and certainly can give.
Welcome to FTE, A 7.3 manual trans...195 on it nice. Your Mo chapter request has been approved already and is being processed. You can ck in with us in the August chat BS thread (closes at midnight Monday night) or just wait until the Sept one is up and running. Which it is already BTW. But not "officially" until tue. Lol
