Towing woes.....

Alright.......2000 Superduty.....every trailer I tow has non-working right signal. The taillight on the truck works, but not the trailer light. I found some TSB's that are kinda related (http://www.alldata.com/TSB/20/002062BZ.html) but none that sound like my problem. I know of at least one other truck (same model) that has this problem. I'd rather fix it myself then take it to a dealer.......cause I am hauling the jeep this weekend adn would really like to get it taken care of before I head out.

Any input is appreciated.

have you use a test light at back of the tail lights, make sure you are getting power from the plug coming from the truck first.

I just have same problem, I find my problem was wire under bumper came un hook.

make sure ground wires are clean and in good shape, tried a differ bulb, make sure the light clean, best way to do tried hook up a differ light temp.

I had the same problem. The fuse was blown in the fuse block under the hood on the driver's side.

There are different fuses for the different lights in the wiring harness? That's weird. I'll check them. Thanks for the input.

2 fuses for the turns and stop for the trailer. Both 7.5 amp.
BTW, do you have accessory power or battery charge in your trailer? It is unrelated, but i am unsure how to get the lights in my trailer to light up and how to get the battery charge to work.

....As for power to the trailer......neither. I just use this trailer to haul my jeep to off road parks to have a little fun!
