460 running hot
We have had issue with this 1995 f250 460 wanting to run hot during extended idles and towing 10k. It won’t cool off after getting back to highway speeds. We installed electric cooling fans a few years ago still doesn’t help. So for the last couple of days I pulled the radiator and changed the water pump. And will install a 3 core all aluminum radiator. And another new thermostat My question is this has a factory oil cooler is there any chance the oil cooler could cause the heat issue. Timing is fine. Doesn’t loose coolant.

I don't think the oil cooler could get enough heat shed into the water to affect the water temp that much. Your oil would have to be super hot. Can you tell us how you know it is overheating? Like, what is the temp? If you tell me you are referring to the factory gauge, then the first thing I would to is put in a mechanical gauge to see what is the actual temp.

Think I got it. Put a champion three core aluminum radiator in and put the original fan with new clutch and original shroud back in. I haven towed yet but I ran all over town at 30-35 mph and made some runs down the highway at 70-75 mph and stayed right at N on normal. And it was 100 degrees today.
i do like that radiator it looks well made and it fit perfectly.
