I just finished repairing 96 Jetta ... blown RH rear Spindle bearing ate the washer and spun..... the evap valve caused me about 3 months of Bank 1 Lean and Transmission to ecu shorted to Ground codes LMAO
Sorry I still haven't had a chance to put dig these out. I spent all week focusing on cleaning around/in the Jetta thats been inhabiting my garage for the past 12 or so years... However, it looks like I have at least 4-6 of the hubcaps, more than I thought. I will try and actually dig them out and clean them up this week if I remember. Honestly no clue what they might be worth, but pretty sure I could find 2 that were in decent shape.
im all set, thank you though. I ended up buying some used American racing wheels

BTW I call it Hitler
The Jetta in my garage is an 84, I bought it pretty cheap and fixed up hoping to get stellar mileage (its an turbo diesel). Ran it for about a year, then the timing belt snapped... Pissed at myself for not checking the belt alignment (I had replaced it maybe 6 months before after rebuilding the injection pump)... I started stripping it to fix the rust and repaint, and found a damn near brand new engine. Then got busy that winter.... and its been about 11-12 years? The longer it sat, the more stuff got piled on it. Figure its not worth the time and energy anymore, while it was a blast to drive, I might want something more modern and safer with the 9 month old.
My wife has an '05 Jetta Wagon, not sure what the hell she does, but it gets crap mileage and burns oil. Replaced the turbo 2 winters ago when she blew it on the way to work. Luckily only the exhaust side went and nothing got sucked into the engine....
Back on topic, I might still dig out the hubcaps and see if anyone else is interested, need to purge a bunch of crap I'll never use anyways.
