[QUOTE=woodnthings;19580460]I would replace the IPR. I have seen more than a few trucks doing this and a new IPR does the trick. It could be sticking internally and causing issues. If you have one with you it is a pretty easy check to do, although in a van it is no easy task![/QUOT
Ya, I have been putting off changing the IPR because it's a pain but think I will just get on with it tomorrow
from the work I have done I think the cps and icp are functioning properly so on to the IPR!
I will update as soon as I make the change.

Ok on the way to the IPR I decided to have a look at the UVCH plugs and wires and as I removed the wire loom I noticed that the middle 5 wires are bundled and there is a loop of bare wire on both plugs

There is continuity between the 2 loops, anyone have an idea of what this is??

That is a grounding loop, meant to reduce stray signals to the injectors.

Thanks farmert, I was hoping that was the case!

So while I had things apart I took the chance to test the UVCH again and it all tests in range of the standard.
Also tested the ICP pin A to B AND b to ground and both are in spec.
I replaced the IPR

(I am not sure if that crack is supposed to be in the o ring?)

and when I first started the motor it ran great at idle and as I idles down the hill. When I stopped to put the dog house back on to save the little hearing I have left, it stumbled but did not stall. I turned around and ran it up the hill and recorded some data with AE, I have attached the data of the WOT, the 2 Baro readings are strange, anything jump out to anyone?

The split in the O ring is suppose to be there.

I also noticed in the data from todays drive that the BARO psi is maxed out 148psi the entire time. Is this normal?
I searched around and found that 1999.5 and newer have the sensor in the PCM could this be an indicator that the BARO sensor is bad? Is there a way to fix it?

Hi all, this morning I read through woodnthings site (man there is a lot of great information in here, thanks!) and ran a few more tests to try and rule out what I can.
I ran a buzz test and it sounds good, all crisp and no codes so I think my ICP, IPR, IDM and CPS are all functioning and doing their collective jobs.
**(See attached file to listen.)**
All my numbers for ICP and IPR are in spec and seem to be playing nice when I drive and record events, here is a snap shot of the start up

Here is a snap shot of WOT

I am still having trouble with stumbling and stalling and am wondering where to go next?
Can anyone comment on the maxed out Baro reading? Is this something I should chase?

Update-
I pulled the harness that attaches the UVCHs to the IAH/GP relays and all the pressure and fuel related sensors that come with it. I then resistance tested all wires in this harness and found a bad connection on the ICP plug from a previous splice for what looks like a new connector. I repaired this and re taped all the other wires and re-installed. I also changed the ICP sensor yesterday and the IPR a few days ago (both Motorcraft parts).

I took her for a test drive and she ran GREAT! No stumble or stall in a half hour test! (about 90 ged F, super low humidity, pulling a slight grade, 3200' elevation.)
I did 2 WOT sessions and had no CEL but when I pulled codes after I had a P1211, I cleared it and drove another 10 min and it did not come back but I did not do another WOT test.
I recorded data for this test drive- ICP (V and psi), IPR (ICP %), EOT, EBP, RPM, MAP, here is a snap shot of the WOT that triggered the P1211

The IPR comes up to 84.76 and holds for a while before dropping.
Any ideas here?
Also when the turbo dumps it is not a crisp sound but more of a crackeling type sound.

PROGRESS!!!
