there are 2 of them of course...on the back of them there is a rather large bolt that fastens it into a bracket that holds it to the frame. make sure that the bushing on either side of the bolt is intact.

Thanks for all the great ideas. I agree, when I put my Cepeks on a few years ago it was really an easy job.

OH the final bit of encouragement that I will give is this: it is almost impossible to mess up when replacing the shocks. The only thing that one even has to be remotely careful about is being cognizant of the rear brake lines. They are kinda in the AO of the shocks. Other than that, doing them yourself is a great way to save money and build confidence when you attempt to changeout an engine hahaha.
