7.3 tech video

There is a community of diesel pickup owners out there who are likely just as tired of the free product pimping on youtube as they were of free product pimping on cable TV shows and enthusiast magazines.
There is a demand for authenticity.
Likewise, there is a circumspect credibility revolt against agendas driven by whoever is currently the most popular getting hooked up with free product in exchange for promotional publicity.
In the case of the video that anchored this thread, it backfired (literally). Singing the praises of the tunes sounds off-key when simply looking at what is pouring out of the tail pipe. Wasted fuel. Sky darkening clouds of fuel thrown away in a firehose of fury can hardly be considered "economical" or "driveable on the street".
The billowing black plume of smoke spewing out of that Excursion, on YouTube no less, is a like setting up a billboard and a bullhorn above the Woodrow Wilson Plaza, boldly shouting "Just follow the Potomac River due South, about 3 hours by black SUV, or 4 hours by patrol boat, where you'll find another "Diesel Brother" to shut down and dish out a near million dollar fine to."
What were these good 'ol boys thinking?
Wait... were they thinking?
They act as if they were not thinking of the fate of Freedom Performance, LLC who was a major web-based distributor of diesel defeat device products. On February 24, 2020, EPA’s Chief Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) issued a default judgment against Freedom Performance, LLC, ordering a $7.058 million penalty for 13,928 violations of the aftermarket defeat device prohibition of the Clean Air Act (CAA). This isn't California. This is FEDERAL... as in felony. As in losing the right to vote. In other words, at $7 million bucks, it's serious.
But these guys don't think it is.
So now every one of the sponsors who donated products to that Towlander project are potentially subject to more federal scrutiny than they might otherwise be, because these Knuckleheads are videoing themselves grossly polluting public roads.
And because of their actions, and the actions of those like them, we all have to pay more out of pocket, for goods and services, roads and infrastructure, food and utilities, deliveries and sundries... because when knuckleheads do things like this, more laws are written forcing big and small businesses alike to have to buy newer trucks with increased emissions controls that are inadequately proven before being brought to market to meet time table mandates.
And it means that private individuals who cannot afford new now approaching 6 figure trucks... will no longer be able to keep their old trucks running with innovative aftermarket parts that DON'T add any more pollution to the environment, but the small business vendors like Riff Raff who bring these innocent innovations to market can't afford the testing bureaucracy to prove that they do not impact the air we breath.
So while these Knuckleheads get their jollies off on Jelibuilt tunes... it is WE who will pay the price, while they get their tunes and kicks for free.
Our community could use some sensible, straightforward videos on the maintenance and repair of perfectly serviceable, long lasting American iron.
All it takes is tripod. No sponsorship or bling required. Especially for someone with practical experience like SSJ, who knows what he is doing and doesn't need to stop and read the instructions anymore.
But no, you can't just drain poisonous coolant directly onto the ground. That's not just illegal in communities, it is potentially irresponsible for wildlife and possibly even hazardous to one's own groundwater if serviced by a well with a shallow water table on private property.
Videos can be great... but they can also telegraph tone deaf optics. The Knuckleheads who created the Towlander video clearly do not see the larger picture.
Perhaps these links will help them...

My only motivation is to help others. Not interested in ‘free’ products and damn sure not interested in fame.
I should convince my brother to come down and shoot the footage and edit into videos. He has the technology and skills. Check out his YouTube channel. Woodworking and some camera/video stuff.

Not only is this my property, I will live here forever. My drinking water comes from a Well not far from where this pic was taken. There is a pristine trout stream at the bottom of the hill. I grow most of the vegetable I eat and have lots of fruit and a couple of nut trees here. I have dogs (one in the pic!) and there are cats, chickens, goats and alpacas here as well. There will be no poisoning of the environment on my watch.
Ut was more or less, if one was to go about posting vids on how--to, or showing how one goes about doing something...etc, just like what happened to the posted videos, they got enialated,..best be sure, that it can't be scrutinized. Unfortunately, that's how the world is anymore/people think...
I didn’t watch all of the videos in the original post and thought maybe they dumped coolant on the ground...
