Heater Control

I hired someone to come install my wiring harness (it was waaaay over my head) and I'm buttoning some things up. What is supposed to go on the bottom of the heater control?? I pulled the one from my parts truck and its missing as well.

You'll need to replace that switch. That's the most common way they fail. The retainer came off and now the spring and cap are missing.

Its still available from multiple sources including DC, LMC and NPD (enough alphabet soup?)
There are a couple of different ones, what year? and in '75 serial number.
