So It's official, I have taken the time to make sure that in My Will, if I still own My Truck, that the only person who is eligible to own this truck, would be an FTE member.
It would have to involve a auction for people to bid on it.
I have to have piece of mind that my One Owner Truck will be respected & be taken care of by someone who cares about it
Someone from my family will contact Ken to look after the details.
& no, I don't plan on dying anything soon, unless of course Michelle keeps TRYING to whistle a tune to the canary which is driving me nutso
What would you want to happen to your truck after you die ?
Well, hopefully my truck will still be around when I'm that old... but I am only 29 right now. If it's still around, I would want it to find a good home. Whether that be family or FTE... who knows!
yea, i think i would want to pass it on to my son if i ever have one. i can't give it to either of my brothers because they will both sell it off, and i know my future wife would too. passing on to a grandson would be cool too. but thats a long ways away, who knows internal comustion could be outlawed by then!
I would want it converted to whatever form of fuel is still available at the time, and be even more bullet-proofed for off-roading. I sincerely want all of mine to be STRONG trucks - capable of anything!
Beyond that - I'd like to see it married to a decent, very feminine, and well thought of red painted (since it can't very well be a red headed) Bronco II, and drive happily ever after...
*winkezz*
PS: I just love the heck out of the toy CHEVRON cars and trucks - I gave one to Theo as a parting gift!
If my truck outlasts me, it needs to go to chevrolet so they can learn a thing or two about building a truck!! Its a maricle its stood up to me driving it around like a Lightning.
But really, I think it would go to my dad, and he would probably finish restoring it. I'm only 18, not thinkin long term. But if I were to marry my current girl (not out of the question) she would roll it off a cliff. Poor truck.....
From: I'm lost somewhere in NJ -- can someone please find me?!?!?!?
Geeze, it's only a truck! Yes, I like my truck, have put a lot of effort & sweat into it, it has taken me many places, etc. But it's still just a truck. In the trials of life (and death) what happens to my truck doesn't even register on the radar. There are much more important things in my life than my F-250.
That is an excellent idea Dennis! I got a whole fleet that could go to FTE members. I might keep my 65 Mustang to be buried in. I said I was going to do that back in 67, I think.
