fuel injectors
i heard ford rangers have 8 fuel injectors and 8 sparkplugs...i knew they had 8 plugs but im not sure bout the injectors. i need new injectors in my 91 f-150, my ? is would the injectors in my 89 ranger fit the 150? i highly doubt it but who knows, worth a try anyway i guess. thanks

you will only have as many injectors and plugs as you do cylinders. as far as will one fit the other, injectors are calibrated to flow a certain amount of fuel while the injector is pulsed. as long as the injectors are physically the same size and rated to flow the same, it should work fine.

I'm not sure about how many injectors are on the 4 cylinder rangers, but they should physically fit in your F150. I would make sure they are the same size as the injectors on your truck. I think all of the 2300 rangers have 2 spark plugs per cylinder.

The 2.3 liter rangers had 8 spark plugs but only one injecter per cylinder. I used to have one, and what a pain in the A$% to change plugs. I would not count on changing injectors between a ranger and a f150. Im sure the bodies are different as well as the psi they run
