Lightbulb Another fuel cutoff switch question.

Forgive me if this question has already been brought up before. Is it possible to activate the fuel cutoff switch in my '03 Ranger manually to serve as a kind of theft deterrent device? I understand that a hard jolt or bump will trip the "intertia switch," however I do not want to slam into the side of a hill or curb just to activate it, nor do I want to install a hidden secondary switch.

Thank you.

Why not just pull the electrical connector to it off.

....or do what I did when my wife called me on my cell phone, got angry and hung up on me....I tossed the phone away in disgust, it impacted the passenger side kick panel, and my truck quit running because I tripped the fuel cutoff switch!!! All at 65 mph at rush hour on the freeway, too! Fortunately managed to pull to the side of the road and reset it with no accident...now its all just an amusing memory and a reminder not to toss things in that direction.....

[I quit answering my phone on the road now, too. lol]
