well don’t worry, if the bumper doesn’t catch you the steering and suspension will before you get completed mounted by a super duty.
I'm sure my daughter (family fashion consultant) will probably tell me to shorten the valance and remove the Prius catchers on our truck when it arrives! LOL
I guess I have not ever seen the Prius catchers, can someone point them out to me? I can't see anything on the 1st pic and obviously it is not going to be there on the 2nd since he said he took them off.

This. There are two of them, one on each side that become visible when you shorten the valance.

Those look like bucket teeth, not low bumpers. Perfect for digging. Except bucket teeth aren't stamped. Looks like they and the low valance would really mess up AoA.
I hit some road debris and cracked my valence out at each of the ends where a makeshift "L" bracket or somesuch won't be much use. Looking to buy either a Tremor or 2wd valence.
If anyone know of a good source outside of regular dealership, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Looks good. I cut the valance on my last two trucks and on my wife's f150 the valance is two pieces so I unbolted the lower portion.
Cutting the valance makes the truck look taller in the front. It's the cheapest lift kit you can get
I agree! I reversed leveled the truck with 2 inch PMF blocks and put tires that are about a half inch taller and a half inch wider, and a lot more aggressive than factory. Add in the cut valance and the stance now looks pretty decent!
I’ve started also with the chrome removal process. Powder coated the tires similar to the gray on the sport F150 wheels and I removed the chrome mirror caps. Next will be the door handles and window trim. Got to figure out what to do with the massive platinum tailgate badge. Have the tail lights off right now putting a light tint on them with nightshades. Did I mention the warranty just ran out??

I cut it right above where the curve is. Measuring from the bumper down it’s 3 1/2 inches everywhere except for where I marked on this photo. It’s 3 inches there because of the angle of the bumper. Technically between the corner of the bumper and that mark with the 3 it decreases from 3 1/2 to 3” but I didn’t measure those places. I only measured at corner points and in the center. I just drew a line connecting the points. Then I masked it off to make sure it looked the way I wanted. Then used a fine tooth jigsaw blade.
I hope that makes sense? If not let me know and I’ll reword it!
