I used to never go there. But I find myself there more and more often. I think it was the option thing. I want a number one, two, whatever, with iced tea. And at Subway you have to hold their hand so to speak to build your food. And if a cook doesn't put on enough of something you like and you tell them, they may give you a dirty look!
Mr. Sub used to be the way to go, but now I goto subway because I prefer to eat something healthy. mr. sub and there cold cut subs aren't very healthy, where as the "club" at subway is.
Only problem I have is the cost. At Wendys a classic single combo with potato instead of fry and coke (or frosty) to drink is 4.27$
The hamburgers are fresh never frozen, brought in every 2 days. The potatos...are potatos.
Subway seems to be minimum 8$ and I usually drink water back at work (still 7 something for a large sub)
Harveys is my fav. burger joint but 5.74$ for a hamburger and soup there...(swiss chalet is attached to the one by my work so I get soup from swiss chalet instead of the fry good deal) still more then wendys.
When your a student...and working part time to pay for everything (school included) you try to watch the spending.
I like Subway subs also, but I voted no because of price.
I consider it fast food but I can't walk out without spending 10 bucks (double meat and a drink) if I want to be full.
Might as well go to KFC or Boston chicken for 10 bucks (they're both kinda pricey for me for lunch). Or a non-franchise sub shop for slightly less, but at least as good.

I worked for the first Quizno's in MD unitl it went out of business, and then waited 3+/- years for another one to come close. Rest assured if you see me in a Subway call the cops I'm being held hostage. I can't stand that junk. I'd rather swill sewage...

There's now a Quiznos in Glen Burnie and Severna Park, FWIW.
Where exactly is Westminster, anyway? I've heard of it, but never been there.
I live right before the bay bridge heading to the Eastern shore.
All you guys in MD ought to run up to Philly and get a REAL cheese steak or hoagie. There ain't nothing like it, nothing even comes close. It's almost enough to make me want to move back east.
