Hi guys,
A couple of weeks ago i slipped of the clutch pedal in reverse and the truck bumped a bit and since then there is a ticking noise comming from the clutch.
The ticking goes faster when accelerating and is gone when i press in the clutch pedal. I thought maybe its the throw-out bearing, or that a prong of the pressure plate is a bit bend?
Just asking if some of you guys had the same and found a solution.
Its a 76 f250 with a 360fe and BW T18 manual 4 speed.
I too would suspect the throwout bearing. But no matter what it is, there's only one route to confirm the problem. Gotta separate the two big chunks of iron.
