I have a 1993 f350 that lately only wants to over heat when it is very hot and humid( not actually overheat but run hot and sputter/ die). I have a new radiator, clutch fan, water pump, electric fans and took thermostat out( take it out in the summer due to our heat).
i noticed the truck was getting a lot of fumes coming from.the engine every now and then under a loaf(pulling a trailer), no check.engime codes. And checked the coolant with a block tester last night and it tested bad.
Would a bad head gasket be the cause of all this? And which head would it be?
