I noticed that the steering wheel was developing play in it, movement side to side and up and down, Not in and out.
So I decided to rebuild my spare Steering column, to use while I rebuild the original, I ordered parts for both columns
Upper bearings
Lower bearings
Shift collars
Shift handle insulator
bushings for the shift levers etc,
today I switched the rebuilt one for the original and when I took it for a test drive I noticed that I had somehow
reversed the " H " Pattern on the column.
My truck specs = 1977 F100 with the three on the tree (column shift manual transmission)
Any Ideas where I went wrong?
You reversed the shift rods from the selector levers to the trans. 2nd/3rd shift rod is where 1st/reverse should be. 1st/reverse shift rod is where 2nd/3rd should be.

Thank you Sir,
I'll go swap them once that wet stuff quits falling from the sky up here,
