Hello everyone, looking for some recommendations for airbags to put on my 2017 F250 Diesel. We will be pulling a 5th wheel so I want to be able to adjust the ride as needed. I've had airbags on my last two light duty trucks (F150 and a Dodge before that) and I've loved having them.
My thought is to install airbags, as well as an onboard compressor, wired to one of the upfitter switches.
I've looked at a set of Air Lift Loadlifter 7500XL's, with the matching Air Lift 72000 Wireless Air Leveling Compressor, which seems to get ok reviews on Amazon, but is there a better solution?
What about having an accessory port on the compressor so I could air up the bikes, or inflatables, etc.?
I'm running Airlift 5000 Ultimate Plus and with the Wireless 2 set up. You don't need the 7500 on an F250 you can't even take a payload anywhere close to that. I have a 2017 CCLB F350 and I'm loving the setup.
I have more of a Frankenstein approach for my 2020 F350. Using Firestone RideRite Red label bags, ARB twin compressor, and a Viar tank. The ARB compressor is a bit overkill, but it'll push a lot of air. Makes airing up / down the truck plus checking the fifth wheel tires pretty quick and easy.
