I have a 1999 Explorer Limited 5.0 that has about 150,000 miles on it. I changed the spark plugs less than 10,000 miles ago. I checked them the other day and found that they needed changed again. Old plugs are Motorcraft Platinum 32 FM. Every plug is very glazed on one side while the other side is almost clean and the center electrode is worn down making the gap twice what it should be

Any idea what is going on here? Do these plugs just suck?
It look's like you have bad valve seal's or guides or piston rings or both. Does it burn oil, smoke when you first start it up? Those plugs look like they came out of a worn engine. Not the plugs fault.
It would tell if the rings were bad. Seems to me them plugs have a lot of oil on them. Here's a pic of one of mine after 2 years in service about 6,000 miles and I think mine are running a little bit lean but cant find a vacume leak yet.
