5r110 questions.
hello everybody I'm new to the site and got some issues with my transmission im hoping to get some help with. I have a 2004 fors f250 with a 6.0.
my transmission is hard shifting from 1 to 4th gear and making a sound. It also will not go past 4th gear. So I'm wondering if anybody could give me any kind of an idea to what the problem may be.

My educated guess is that something is wrong.
To get a better idea of what's wrong you need to get the codes that are stored in the PCM's memory. The places that read codes free CANNOT read these codes. You can do it with Forscan, or a good independent shop can read them, or even a Ford dealer.
