I'm sure this has been discussed. But, my search terms keep going back to the two torx screws under the dash...
It is difficult to move the gear selector. Very difficult. Is there a bushing or lube point to free this up? Just recently it would not go into park. But, prior to that it was still very hard to move from park to R or N or D.

you may be due for a new shifter cable... about a year ago my shift tube broke again, while cable was disconnected from transmission so i could manually put truck into drive to get home i checked how well the cable moved in the sheath it was tough!
new cable and tube and now it moves like a new truck.
