'17 F350 DRW 6.7 CCLB Platinum. Horn has stopped working when I hit the lock button on key fob, and, only works sporadically when pushing the horn button. Checked out engine compartment fuse number 15 (20amp) and the fuse looks good. Not sure what else it could be. Has anyone had the same problem on their 4th Gen 2017-2020 and if so, what was your fix?
Replace the fuse anyway, you should have a bunch extra for the future anyway.
then check relay like stated.
not sure where you are located but when I moved to Texas something inside the wheel shorted and I had them run a button horn on the steering column because I wasn't about to pay for a new airbag !
I’d also disconnect, clean, grease, and reconnect the electrical connector at the horns. Behind the grill centerline. Depending on your grill, you may be able to reach through the gaps, or may have to pop the grill off.

^^What he said. I had the same problem where all of a sudden my horn stopped working. I was leaving on a trip a week later and the dealer couldn't get the truck in for the warranty work. I reached in through the middle of the grill and unplugged the horn, tested it with a 12v test light using the key fob to doubletap the lock button to beep the horn. There was power to the horn, so I removed the grill and found the horn terminal to be corroded. Cleaned it up, put a little dielectric grease in it, and its been good for about 10 months. Good luck!
Just a heads-up that you shouldn't have to fully remove the grille to get at the main horn connection. The horns on my F-350 Lariat, anyway, are in a vertical stack in the middle (horizontally) of my grille. Simply remove the top radiator plastic shield by pulling out the 87 push-pin connections. Then, the horn wiring harness can be unclipped from above by reaching your hand down the top horn. The wire does have a friction-fit, directional pin that holds it in place. That has to be pulled out, and it's not easy. But, then you can pull the entire wire harness up above the grille/radiator for inspection.
If you need to do any work on the actual horns or inspect the daisy-chain wiring between the two horns, then you'll probably have to remove the grille to get that deep.
