ECM issues

I’m having transmission troubles and it’s led back to my ECM. My Bronco is a 95 EB 5.8 with a E4OD transmission. It has a part # F5TF 12A650 BYA. Will a F5TF 12A650 YB work. I was told my original is a California emissions and the YB is a standard emissions. Any help would be appreciated. The original issue was when put in drive it would act if you dumped the clutch. Thanks

No it will not work. Why not just get yours repaired?

Supposedly it has 3 times. Do you know what the difference is. I was told it just wasn’t California emissions

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls the engine and transmission. Have you run the Key On Engine Off (KOEO) tests and Stored Code display?

No I haven’t. I was told it was plug and play.
