Yep.... much better........My LWB had a LOT of rust thru that needed attention. Brakes were a mess, wiring was a mess. The frame had HEAVY rust and I had gotten the front end of the frame cleaned and painted.
My engine has been overhauled and a lot of parts have been cleaned up and painted.
This "new" SWB has a good body (although different colors) and a really nice engine compartment. It came with power steering so that was another plus.
The worst part is somebody started a bubba AC install and stopped after screwing up the interior...... (thank the Lord he STOPPED).
ANYWAY.... this is a pretty good truck for a 42 year old Mississippi truck. It must have spent a lot of time under a shed.
6 total. Talked to the organizer and he thinks the reschedule, the weather and covid took a toll on trucks entered. Hopes for better next May. Told him I plan to have hopefully two there. Hint.👍 Several clubs came with multiple members. Most were 67-72 and 73-79.
