The transmission in my '62 is getting a bit noisy and has some slop in the driveshaft yoke. I'd like to upgrade to a unit with a synchronized 1st gear and have it as close to plug and play as possible and retain the 3 on the 3 on the tree. The
current trans may not be original to the truck, it seems short @ 11.75" from bell housing to the end of the tail shaft.
