I have a 250 camper special '77 and i think the front bearing seal blew out. oil all over the front of the motor and no oil pressure. I am looking for opinions on what would be the best replacement motor to put into it and should i consider going fuel injected. Emissions and gas mileage are of no importance.
If you tow or haul - or you're just power hungry like me you might consider a 460 swap. But it would be cheaper and easier to stick with a 400, they have some power potential too...
By fuel injection, do you mean a EFI motor from a newer donor ford? Lots of work and you would probably need to buy the complete donor truck, but it would be great when it's done...
