help with ft lbs please
1974 - F100 - 302 - 2WD
I just ordered a service manual, cd format, but it'll take a while to get to me. Meanwhile, I need torque wrench specs for valve covers, oil pan, and trans fluid pan. Can any of you folks lend a hand with the numbers? Thanks.

You need inch/pounds not ft/lbs.
I usually just tighten them with a 3/8" ratchet with my hand over the ratchet at the end where the socket goes and just snug them up. I never really tighten them or you will warp the cover or pan. Just good and snug always works for my.
As far as actual in/lbs numbers, I don't know for sure.
