Got a little bit of rain this afternoon. Not a lot, but a little. The parts I was waiting on finally showed up. Still gonna be a few days before I can pull the carb and fix it.
Seems like all of my stuff has been delayed a lot. I've got three or four packages over due. Friend of mine has finally gotten his 80 model utility truck back on the road. His shade tree mechanic has had it for two years just about. I gave him the motor and trans from my donor truck to get it back on the road and it's just barely running now. I've got a box of parts for him, but they won't help much, half are cosmetic. It's running pig rich but he has to feather the throttle or it stalls when he puts it in gear. Guess I need to read up on his carb so I can tune it.
Hey Clifton! Yeah, been a busy summer, working a lot of hours here at work! I'm ready for this covid crap to be done. Enough is enough! Besides, I need my college football, and I think that's going to get all screwed up this year.
Busy does help. I'm caught back in my loop right now, can't seem to get anything done because everything is in everything elses way. Wandering back and forth between the shed the porch the shop and the truck.
Toohot to do much. Traded for a 78 f100 i used to own. Thinking about putting the 351M c6, front disc brakes/power steering, steering column & fuel tank in my 66 swb patina project. Then there would still be some body parts left over for my 78 f250 4x4 project.Been working on a seat project for my 64 c10. Wanting to get ready for deer season & need to do some bush hogging. I am ready to retire!
