Ok here it is I replaced my 20s last week with raptor rims and tires left old wheels all together.
put brand new sensors in raptor wheels. I have had what I believed to be reading for theses wheels
til today got the tpms alarm. So I tried to train them both ways. I have psi readings but not right cause I had one wheel with 5 psi in it an was reading 35. Can the truck be reading the other set which is 30 feet away. If so how can I clear them out an set truck to new ones. Help. This is pissing me off. Thank for any an all help
So you’re driving around with a tire that has only 5psi in it waiting for the reading to change? Try putting 40psi in all the tires and go for a ride and see if they read right..
I recently had to have a nail removed from the left-front tire. The shop (America's Tire) repaired the tire and also did a rotate/balance. The tech who repaired the tire aired that tire up about 2 PSI lower than the other tech who did the rotate/balance on the other 3.
So when I left the shop, the 2 PSI lower tire still showed at the left-front. About 5 miles down the road, the 2 PSI lower tire "moved" to the left-rear. How about that? It learns as it goes. I'm kind of curious how it does that.
Because each corner has a receiver. The closest sensor to that receiver is what shows on the display.
I did not know this. on earlier versions you had to put the vehicle in learn mode, let the air out of each tire till the horn honked starting with the drivers side front and going clockwise around the truck. I guess I just glossed over that section on my new truck.

I get it into learn mode I can’t get the horn to signal on drivers side. Let all air out one time an nothing.
there training mode actually times out so I still fighting with them. Any one done it with forscan thinking that may be next
yes, the tpms sensors can be read 30' away...I got a tire repaired in St. Louis. was sitting in the parking lot watching the tech remount the tire...as he was reinflating it, the low pressure light on the dash went off...I was probably around 40 feet away.
