3-Prong sending unit???
Hello all. First post on any car/truck forum. Lurking for years. I have an ‘86 F350 6.9 Diesel that was missing the rear tank. The plug is there for a sending unit but it has a 3-prong cable instead of 2 or 4. I’ve looked through the forums and taken the different part numbers listed to google to look for a unit with 3 prongs and can’t find one. Does anyone know which one it is? LMC truck had a nice drawing but none of the plugs matched.
