Diablo re: speed limiter

Apparently not - Just put the Diablo single-stage
chip in my 2000 F-150 v6 and the 95 mph govenor is still
in place. Truck is peppier, and shifts much better, but speed limiter is still (unfortuantely) intact. I called Motorhaven and was
told that it does not always remove the limiter, but they have no way of knowing which vehicles it will or will not work on. Bummer!!

Strick, I'm pretty sure it would work on your truck. It worked on mine. I know I've had mine at 110 - 115 already. The day I put it in I tested it and the limiter was either raised really high or gone.

Superchips doesn't remove the limiter? Hey, I'd ask this in the chips forum if I were you. Ken will probably know. He knew that it would remove mine when I asked!

Just found out that the removal of the speed limiter is a "Custom" programming, and must be specified on the custom form. Since I called in my order, I did not use/see the form.
