Question 351c????????????

I have a 1970 Ford F100 Ranger XLT. The motor that is in the truck now came from a 1973 Ford LTD. Can anyone tell me what motor came in a 1973 Ford LTD. The waterneck goes into the intake. Im just curious . Its important to know what i have before i buy parts for it.

Waterneck into the top of the intake or the front of the intake?

How many bolts for the valve covers?

How are the spark plugs pointed?

the water neck comes out of the front of the intake and is angled upward. the valve covers are from a "chrome dress up kit" and have 6 holes. and if you open the hood and are looking at the engine , the 4 plugs on the left are pointed towards you, and the 4 plugs on the right are pointed towards the back of the truck(opposite direction of the the left plugs.

Sounds like a 351 windsor.
I believe the 351c waterneck mounts right on the block on the top of the engine in front of the manifold.

I'll do a little more digging to be sure.

Could be either a 302 or 351W.
