94 4.9 Issues

Had an '89 - 4.9 - 5sp 115k when I bought it (2000) probly 160k when it started having similar problems. Would stall when warm for awhile, on warm days the most, highway for 30 minutes etc.Let it sit for 10 - 15 minutes and would take off fine. Chased things around for a few months, dealer ran diags, found nothing.
Having tried so many things, drove it around one day until warm. parked in the driveway let it run, didn't stall.
But noticed that emissions charcoal can (that one WAS a coffee can). Unhooked the inlet and outlet lines and let them breathe for a few days, no problems.
The can was clogged - saturated?

member here was moving, and chasing hi idle, checked his new(not motorcraft) IAC, and it was bad
