VIN decode

Looking to see what my truck came with originally, not planning a full restoration but just curious as to what it had originally. Really curious as to what engine it had originally. Thanks in advance for any input!

K = Kansas City MO Assembly Plant.

859420 = 1966.

129" Wheelbase.

J = Rangoon Red.

F100 2WD, 5000 lbs. GVWR

E81: E = Red Crush Vinyl & Red Cody Pattern Woven Plastic // 81 = 81B Custom Cab.

C = Ford type 3.03 3 Speed Manual all Synchromesh Transmission.

17 = Ford 9" Rear Axle // 3.25-1 // 3,300 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.

5,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

172 net HP @ 4,000 RPM

65 = Oklahoma City OK Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

OP asked, I did it...twice. OP musta forgot it had already been done.

Previous decode also has 2 part numbers listed and their applications.

Yeah, sometimes I see the same one come up again after being sold to a new owner that posts it. In this case it was just a senior moment. I have those, I get that. Lol
