'95 5.8 running issues

I have a '95 F150 with a 5.8. It's been running a bit ragged lately. Several issues: When it sits for a week, you have to crank it quite a while before it starts. Turning the ignition on and letting the fuel pump run helps, but it still takes a long time to start. After that, it starts instantly. Once warmed up, the idle is low and rough. It doesn't actually stall, but comes close. Every so often, maybe one trip out of ten, it will hiccup while driving. It actually seems to shut off for a second or two. By the time I say, "Oh sh**", it's fine. Other than routine stuff like oil changes, I haven't worked on it much. It has 142K miles, and I don't drive it much. I'm retired, and only use it for Home Depot and dump runs, so maybe 2000 miles a year. The gas is fresh, because it empties the tank pretty quick. I get no CEL. Any thoughts?

When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced?

Has the ignition control module ever been tested/replaced?

Have you ever pulled the connector off of the ECU, on the passenger side firewall/fender-well, to see if there is any sign of corrosion on the pins?

None of the above. Although I've had the truck a couple years, I haven't put many miles on it. I know next to nothing about vehicles that don't have a carburetor and a distributor. I've changed the oil, hoses, belts and coolant, part of upgrading it to actual temperature and oil pressure gauges. I also haven't replaced the plugs and wires yet, either.
