Ive got a 74 f100 with a 360fe. It's a stock motor, the only upgrade is a set of flowtech long tube headers. Its a pretty strong motor but id like to make a bit more. What are some budget friendly upgrades that I could get. By the way I'm already planning on getting a Petronix Ignitor 3 ignition module as well as the ignitor 3 coil.
2v intake presently? You could pick up a 4v iron intake cheap or an Edlebrock Performer RPM 4v for a lot more. If you've got funds for heads you could have yours gone over, maybe CJ valves. If you really want to go all out the Edlebrock RPM heads are a popular choice. A 390 crank would really help you out if you can go that far. What's your rear gearing and how is it typically driven?
On the super cheap side, dial your timing in really good. My 390 is a different beast with just a few degrees. If you haven't rebuilt your carburetor in awhile that can help a lot as well as tracking down any worn out vacuum hoses.

the truck has stock gears but that’s all I know about them unfortunately, it’s my daily driver I take to work but I feel like it’s very lagging in power.
you need to define " budget " to get much help. the truth is it's going to a few thousand to get a good improvement. assuming it's stock now your compression is going to limit the potential of most anything you try to do around it.
Don't gear down to gain power unless you're drag racing. the benefits don't offset the disadvantages.
