Performance Ignition parts
Would I see any gain in performance and milage if I install a Accel coil and TFI module or it this idea a waste of money? I have a '89 F150 302 w/5sp, the only upgrades I've done are K&N filter, Flowtech shorty headers with a 40 series muffler.

I used a MSD Blaster and got a noticable improvement in power over the old stock coil. I hardly ever see an improvement in my mileage though because as my power creeps up my foot gets heavier.
I got some new higher grade wires and plugs at the same time. Accel's been around for awhile so I imagine they're at least as good.
I also got the filter and shorties and they helped some. Every little bit adds up after awhile. Since then I've added a MSD 6A and MAF conversion and now it's like a new motor. It runs completely different than when I got it.
