Tailgate removal help

How do you get the tailgate off an '02 F250? The two cables unclip like normal, but where my old truck required just to lower the tailgate past flat and pull it out of the hinge, this one won't do it.

Quick help anyone?

Open the tailgate only halfway down and pull the passenger side out first by pulling toward you, then move the gate to the right and it will come off the drivers side pin.

Yes, Open the tailgate half way and pull up on the passenger inside and then pull to your right to slide it out on the driver side. If this does not work look at where your tail gate goes in on the passenger side there is a little rubber grommet it could have been forcefully turned and then your tailgate will not come out until you turn it back to line up the slots.
