is a bear. will not budge. . before i do some damage , any ideas on how to break it loose. i can get the wrench on it but there is no room to move. anyone else have this issue
and how did you solve it ?
I had the same thing with mine. Tried penetrating oil for a week. Then tried heat. Then sawzalled it off. Made a new one with a piece of 1” x 1/8” wall pipe and a big washer. Had new poly bushings but couldn’t find hardware like the original. Good luck with it.
X2 on quality penetrating oil like PB blaster, Mouse milk (no kidding Google it). Or mix a 50/50 mix of 100% acetone and dextron/mercron automatic transmission fluid. The twofluids will separate like oiland vinegar so you have to shake the bottle well before spraying.
Let it soak, if you can get a impact gun on it rattle loosen, rattle tighten. Then heat or the Freeze off trick stuff.
