Help!! Slipping On Take Offs
I am new to this board and know very little about the mechanics of engines, transmissions, etc. so please help me out on diagnosing this problem. I have an automatic 2001 Ford F250 Powerstroke Diesel 7.3L 4X4. When I come to a complete stop, then accelerate, I fell a slipping. Seems like its coming from the rear end. I don't mean slipping as in the tires are spinning but like something isn't engaging on take offs right away. Truck seems to be shifting fine. This only seems to happen when accelerating from a complete stop. Any ideas?
