it was in the 90s tday with high humd.. every month there is a 'trade days;' at a local state park... usually lots of vendors and lots of people... today it wasn't even half and not enough people to disobey
social distancing... I made it about an hour and headed for the a/c. Came home and tried todo a little welding on my trailer project (tongue lock) and with two fans on me I was drenched in about 20 minutes
hit the shower and the recliner.. 72 degrees and 47% humd... my best job today was putting a rear end in a recliner !! that counts as shop work, right ??

Sheesh. 98 here today and probably 40%. I've been pulling up an old sidewalk and pad in the back yard. I hauled two loads (about 2000lbs each) of broken up concrete to the dump today and have the trailer loaded up for a run tomorrow. i think two more trips after that and I should have it all. Naturally I had to wait until the heat of the day to do this because I'm THAT kind of rocket genius.....
We hit 95 today in New Jersey with 75% humidity. I'm from the West coast where we don't have any humidity and it's just stinking brutal. I've got a 10,000 btu AC in my shop and it's basically whimpering in the corner!
106F here today. Like Bobby, we wither and die if the humidity tops 25%. It was hot, but a nice and dry 13% humidity. The good news is here in Eastern WA, the temps will drop 40 degrees overnight, so it's comfortable after dark and we get to start over again tomorrow.
106F Now we are starting to talk hot! We hit 111F last week - just brutal.
That's about as bad as it get's here... some sort of Tropical system heading in
this weekend to put an end to this for a bit..
I've thought about driving out West this summer but pounding down IH10 from Austin to California
in this sounds awful. My hat's off to anyone living from El Paso to Los Angeles.. bleak.
I generally use the 35-35 method if it's colder than -35 ( 31f ) I stay in the house and if its hotter than 35 ( 95f ) you guessed it I stay in the house .
