I have a 92 f150 5.0l automatic trans read wheel drive all stock
so my goal with this truck is to make a show/ race truck, pretty much get as much horsepower and torque out of the motor. But with speed density idk if I could get the most out of the motor. So would a carburetor conversion or a MAF conversation be best?
any help would be awesome
There are many bolt-ons that can be done with speed density, without aftermarket tuning; headers, exhaust, roller rockers, intake, torque converter, & a valve body upgrade....and even a 4.10 gear swap if so desired. In some cases, you could also throw in a speed density friendly cam as well and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, but that'll be the extent. From there, you will need to upgrade the fuel system and aftermarket injectors.
