If I was a betting man I would say it is because of the >11500 GVWR. I going out on a limb and speculate that the vacuum boots cutoff is going to be 11500 GVWR even though the Ford documentation states only duly’s get hydro. Ford could have missed updating there documentation with all the new higher GVWRs.
I'm interested to see a 7.3 F-350 with the 11,900 GVWR. I think that will tell us if it's just diesels or anything > 11,500 GVWR...
Looks like even a paper derate means you don’t get the hydro boost. Can anyone with a 2020+ srw cclb 6.7 with 11,400 gvw check to see if they have vacuum or hydro?

I just had a 2021 F350 CCLB 6.7 as a loaner, it was optioned with the derate as most of them the dealers order are. There was no hydroboost, it was vacuum assist.
