Earl's Solo Bleed

Anyone tried these? They're excellent! I replaced the Speed Bleeders I had on my Dent with these. My speed bleeders were allowing air to return to the caliper during bleeding. Unlike the speed bleeder brand, these Solo Bleeds actually seal when backed off 1 turn. I installed them on my Dodge, and have ordered them for my Jeeps.

Unless you are bleeding the brakes all the time, you got bigger issues then, I dont see the need to open the system just to add them.
My .02
The only thing that worked on my truck was a pressure bleeder, home made, all other type even 2 person did not work on an empty system.

I should have contacted you before installing these.

I got tired of conventional bleeding and pressure bleeding when I was getting my brakes worked out. I build a vacuum bleeder using cheap AC gauges. Last time I changed the master cylinder I pulled a vacuum, siphoned fluid in, and pumped the pedal a few times. Took about 2 minutes.

Thanks,
When I couldn't get my brakes to bleed property I thought there is no way they do it this way on the assembly line. So I did some searching online and read that oems use a vacuum tool. The other benefit is you can verify the system is sealed without making a mess. So if you have a bad brake line you don't have to get brake fluid all over when replacing the line since fluid has not been added yet.
I did find you have to pump the pedal to let all the air out.

Yep, I've gravity bled my Dent and CJ's. It works well. Later vehicles like my Dodge and JK don't gravity bleed well though. I guess the rollercoaster of tubing at the crazy proportioning / ABS valves impedes free flow, unless the pedal is depressed. In all my vehicles, I flush brake and clutch master cylinder fluids twice a year. These bleeders make flushing a much faster job.
