Power running boards

Power running boards
2017 F 350 sd Lariat
Installed factory running boards,
I finally got everything working but I have 1 small problem I am hoping the forum can help me with,
The driver RB works perfectly, up/down no problems at all. but the pass RB closes half way up then stops
when closing the door. Open the door and it drops down to where it should be.
I know it is not a mechanical problem because I disconnected the RB motor at the motor connector and
fed power manually to the + and - on the connector and the board moves freely all the way up and all the way down.
Any Suggestions as to what the problem might be ????
