I have a 2002 7.3 CCSB. Runs great. Going down the road and truck will all the sudden have no throttle response and if I give it more throttle nothing nothing happens, I have to let of the throttle just a bit and it picks up again. When this happens the water in fuel, the glow plugs sign and the engine light come on. It almost seems the key was turned off and then right back on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Also could be wires from the 42 pin harness chaffing on the driver's side valve cover and shorting/grounding briefly. I have had those same 3 lights come on when this happened to me. I could repeat the issue by putting the truck in reverse and giving it a little pedal. Engine would rock the valve cover into the harness, sometimes killing the engine. Would start right back up.

This ^ along with a dozen other probable chaffing discrepancies need to be addressed and inspected. There are many points along the harness where the engineers must have drawn up their **** poor blueprint on a friday afternoon. With a bag of Adel clamps, conduit, wire ties, and good grade electrical tape you can finish the work they started and increase your reliability by a long shot. Look at the reliable methods used in the aviation industry as an example. One of my biggest pet peeves with these trucks is having a hose or wire bundle in plastic conduit laying on an aluminum intercooler pipe. Did they really design it that way?
