95 f350 7.3 has zero power and getting worse HELP

i have a 95 7.3 manual
the problem started maybe a month ago and has gotten increasingly worse
from a stop after running and at a light i can hit the pedal over and over and get nothing pop the engine forward in 1st gear and i get throttle......empty or loaded if i hit any kind of up grade hill it just slowly just loses power and cant get out of its own way have to wait till it stops after down shifting the slowly and i mean slowly crawl in first and if im lucky second gear it simply has zero power its running but just dies but still runs but today stopping and going i have to shut the truck off restart just to get power to have the throttle work im at a loss its throwing zero codes with a snapon reader reads everything on the truck so yeah need help as i can keep driving with zero power flat surfaces if im moving it goes hit a hill and it just dies down hope this is enough infor to get some pointers

could be a wiring issue, loose or corroded wire on pedal can do weird things

First, since this is NOT chat, and people will be referencing this information FOREVER, is it too much to communicate in sentences?

Next - does the accelerator respond while standing still?

Third - if your Snap-On device can read live data - can you set it to read accelerator position (pref. as a %) and idle validation switch state?

sometimes it does.....if i restart the truck it will respond
but for the past week without jumping it into first gear no i will get nothing from the pedal...
and when i drive any strain on the motor i.e up a hill it just dies down and has nothing......until i start in first and wind out the gears

Can you please explain what "jumping it into first gear" means. I'm guessing you mean if it's losing power you need to downshift into first to get some sort of power back but maybe that's not what you mean.

Have you checked fuel pressure?

I would look at the tin not that's is supposed to keep the coil on the IPR shaft. It sounds like that is loose.

Aaron is suggesting that the tin nut that holds the IPR coil on might have come off.

sounds like something is loose and jerking the truck is making it move at times

IPR could be loose and getting worse
Some thing in the tank could be doing it too maybe
