Need Help Picking Tires *****Bash what u don't like
Upgrading to larger 285/75R18 tires . Ford 2020 f-250
I don't off road and it has to be one of these only cause of the load capabilities are 4080 lb. each. I also want quiet on highway and water handling
would appreciate comments and or bashing of the brands (or me)
No Cooper’s meet your criteria? There are sooooo many tire threads on this forum. I’m running nittos right now, happy with the wear, hate the added weight (expected for 35’s) but will probably get 55,000 miles out of them. But I’ll go with coopers next go’round.
I use the Yoko 015's on Subaru Outbacks. They ride well and I like the sidewall protection. If you don't ever go off-road, there are better tires, as AT tires don't work on the pavement as well as road tires. Road tires offer better traction, ride, and lower noise than AT's. Good luck!
I had two sets of nitto terra grapplers g2 (LT) on my old f150.
now I put ridge grapplers,285/75/18.(skinny 35” ) on my gasser f250
both are fantastic. But I like the ridge grapplers a lot better. Better handling and traction in the snow/ice. Better in the mid and wed grass/dirt.
No added road noise.
and they look awesome
I've had yoko geolandar on 2 pickups, sold 2nd truck before I wore them out. Other set on 99 250 with 7.3, overloaded that truck several times and tires handled well, got about 75000 out of then on that truck. So my vote is them
