So for whatever reason, one rear caliper mounting bracket bolt unbolted itself and *bolted* from my 2000 Excursion (4wd). I'm going *nuts* trying to source a new one. So I figured I'd start a new *thread* about it. :-)
Before I go to Tractor Supply or some other fastener store, any ideas? (Local Ford dealer can't have one for a week, and didn't really inspire confidence about that. Autozone, etc., reply "N/A.")
The Super Duty at the local Pick and Pull, its bolt had a larger head. (The on one my Ex is 18mm.) I don't know if the threads are the same. Anyone?
Had the same thing happen to my truck 2 or 3 years ago. Bolt on my F350 is 18mm also IIRC. Autozone had them in their universal section. Packaging said they were for a caliper mounting bracket on a GM but they were same size. Pre-lubed with red loctite. If no luck there, you could try Ace and size up to one you do have.

Thanks for the reply, Cousin. So today I tried two other dealerships nearby and one of them will have two for me at 8:30 tomorrow morning. So they say. And if they don't, I'll try your suggestion about Autozone....
