hood cable question

guys, i'm thinking about putting a hood cable on my 79 150, it didn't come with one stock, howhard is it to install, do i need special brackets or can i buy a kit, thanks

if you put in a stock one it's not hard to do at all, plus the cable locks with a key. if you get one out of a newer truck you will have to make up some brackets. email me i know someone who had a stock set up for sale.

You need the complete system if you are converting over.

The Latch under the hood & the Locking Hood release is what you need.
