I have one and have no complaints, If vented to atmosphere understand you will smell it and see some steam from time to time it's normal.

I've done it with SPE CCV delete and internal catch can. No issues at all.

So yours is venting to atmosphere but going through a catch can first?

What does it do? I guess keeps it out of the combustion chamber.

that and oil from collecting in your intercooler pipes and intercooler. Plus you never have to worry about replacing that filter. Not that it's a high maintenance issue. I just don't want to worry about it anymore.

Interesting concept. Although the cost is higher than a Mishimoto catch can kit that removes the junk from the stream and still routes the vapors back to the intake.

Yeah, i liked it better. I didn't have to mount a separate canister that i had to check and worry about filling up.

There's pros and cons to each kit I suppose. I want to do something to keep the oil out of the intercooler. The SPE might be slightly easier to install? Spaceman do you notice the crankcase smell? I had the PCV on my old truck vented to atmosphere, and while I never noticed any liquid drip out of the hose, there could be some fairly noticeable odor.

I have replaced my intercooler with an aftermarket one. My 6.7 has 4,700 miles on it. Here are pic's of the oil already inside.
